When we talk about two towers at Hedengren, we don’t thinking about the Lord of the Rings film but about Oslo’s new landmark Gullhaug Torg. Hedengren has provided a full supply of security technology for these spectacular buildings.
An ultra-modern eco building
Gullhaug Torg will be an ultra-modern eco building in Nydalen, Oslo. The project consists of two towers, one with 18 storeys and one with seven storeys and a basement. The total floor area is 11,200 m2, and the buildings will accommodate housing, offices and restaurants.
The towers have been designed by Snøhetta, and the architecture is not the only thing that is spectacular. The sky-high climate and environmental ambitions make Gullhaug Torg stand out from the crowd. We are pleased that Hedengren has been chosen in a BREEAM building where energy efficiency is important.
Easier with Hedengren
Hedengren has supplied fire alarms, intruder alarms, emergency lighting, access control, video surveillance and an intercom system for Gullhaug Torg.
Fire alarm and emergency lighting installation is easier, because they run on the same cabling, control centre and network. It will also be easier for the owners to deal with a single supplier for all security and building technology installations during the building’s operating phase. In addition, the systems are energy-efficient and cost-effective, partly because emergency lighting can be turned off in the non-residential sections.
